Healthy Eyes equal a Healthy life

Maintaining healthy eyes is vital for enjoying life to the fullest, performing well in various activities, detecting potential health issues, and safeguarding your vision as you age. Here are 4 tips about keeping your eyes healthy:
Schedule regular eye tests- Book eyes tests with your optician to monitor your vision and detect any eye issues early on

Protect your eyes from the sun- Wear sunglasses that provide 100% protection from the sun’s UV rays, as prolonged exposure increases the risk to eye conditions such as cataracts

Practice the 20-20-20 rule- Give your eyes a break! If you’re spending extended periods of time looking at a screen or reading, take a break for 20 minutes. Then look at something 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds as this helps reduce eye strain.

Maintain a balanced diet- It’s important to nourish your eyes with the right nutrients, eating food that are rich in Vitamin A, C and E support eye health
