Dr Lovereet Gill, a graduate of Liverpool University, became a GP in 1998. A GP Partner at Flixton Road Medical Centre, he has a clinical interest in public health and improving health awareness. Dr Gill is passionate about reducing barriers to health access and developing high quality local primary care services for Trafford’s residents.​

Nursing Team

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, travel vaccinations, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes and carry out cervical smears.

Assistant Practitioners

Our Assistant Practitioners are trained to carry out new patient health checks, over 75 health checks and also free health and cholesterol checks. They also monitor patients who have been diagnosed and are on treatment for hypertension and give advice on smoking cessation.

Medicines Management

Working closely with both our clinical pharmacist and clinicians, Medicines Managers are responsible for optimising patient medication by reviewing prescription requests and queries and actioning hospital discharge summaries. Medicines Managers are available to talk to if you have any queries or issues regarding your prescription.​

First Contact Physiotherapists

The role of First Contact Physiotherapists (FCPs) in Primary Care is to assess patients with soft tissue muscle and joint pain and to decide on the most appropriate management pathway. FCPs are physiotherapists with expertise in the assessment and management of Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.​​​​

Practice Management

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.​​​
