In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Alexandra Hospital invites you to a special event designed to empower, inform and raise awareness about breast cancer treatment and recovery.

Join us as we explore:

  • The Art of Surgery – from compassionate communication to careful planning and precise technique.
  • What is an Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon? – learn how our specialists combine cancer surgery with advanced reconstructive approaches.
  • Enabling Breast Conservation – how modern surgical techniques can help preserve breast shape and appearance during cancer treatment.
  • Reconstruction After Removal – understanding the options available after the removal of breast tissue, including procedures to achieve balance and symmetry.
  • Self Checking – Learn how to perform effective self-checks at home.

Hosted by Consultant Oncoplastic Breast and Endocrine Surgeon, Mr Rajiv Dave, this event provides a great opportunity to raise awareness, ask questions and gain clarity on the choices available.

This talk will take place at 7PM on Thursday 16th October in The Alexandra Hospital Restaurant. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Free parking is also available on-site.

Reserve your place today and join us in celebrating awareness and the art of modern breast surgery.
