Honouring Black History, Together

What is Black History Month?

Black History Month is celebrated every October in the UK. It’s a time to recognise and honour the achievements, history, and contributions of Black people in Britain and around the world.

Who is Black History Month for?

It’s for everyone! — a chance to learn, reflect, and celebrate the rich heritage and culture of African and Caribbean communities, whose stories have often been overlooked.

Whether through art, music, activism, or everyday acts of resilience, Black History Month shines a light on the people who have shaped our shared history.

Come and see us at Sale Moor Community Centre on 11th October!
