Take part in Kooth Focus Groups about older adults accessibility to mental health services

Kooth are looking for 12 participants aged 65+ to take part in a focus group exploring older adults accessibility to mental health services. Discussions will cover:

  • Opinions and/or beliefs about mental health
  • Views about digital services
  • Barriers they face to accessing a digital service
  • Barriers to accessing mental health services
  • What would improve access to a digital service
  • What has helped accessibility
  • The types of issues people within their communities and age group are experiencing
  • Whether people would consider accessing support for these issues

The focus groups are due to run on Monday 16th June at St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green North, Manchester, M12 6FZ.

Participants will be split into two separate groups of 6:

Focus group 1: 11:30-12:30

Focus Group 2: 13:00-14:00

All participants will receive a £30 gratuity as a thank you.

There may also be a follow-up opportunity to take part in creating video content, with additional gratuity available. Transport support can be provided if required.
