All test results are reviewed by a GP who will write to patients with the results of any x-ray, test, or blood test where further action is required. Please note that due to the high volume of test results we receive, we do not contact patients where blood test results are normal.
When you attend for a test you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. We have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and will only provide results to the person they relate to (unless prior permission has been provided by that person or the patient is in capable of understanding them).
Test results can be viewed online once you have registered for our online services or can be received by calling the surgery after 14:00 once sufficient time has elapsed. It is your responsibility to check your test results and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.
